Adidas Philippines x Yeo Kaa

Yeo Kaa takes a vibrant spin on the classic Adidas silhouette, ‘Rivalry 86 Low’ in a very special collaboration with the iconic sportsbrand. It’s the fifth Filipino-designed Adidas footwear collaboration and the first one from a Filipina. The iconic ’80s basketball shoes take on an important message of strength and rest with the aptly named “Strong Girl” – a testament to the hardships that have made us stronger.

These off-white footwear pieces boasts a stripe, a visual motif associated by Yeo Kaa with her newfound sense of calmness and freshness. Additionally, a graphic print of the word “strong,” rendered in the artist’s distinctive typeface, embellishes the midsole. Her signature characters appear multiple times on the heel and the front upper of the shoes. To complete the design, Yeo Kaa’s art adorns the shoe’s sock-liners, and her signature character makes its final appearance with an inscription that reads “Strong Girl Needs Rest Too.”

Yeo Kaa’s ‘Strong Girl’ Rivalry 86 Low will be available in-stores and online from 19 October 2023.
