Ampannee Satoh at Sharjah Biennial 14

Ampannee Satoh is currently part of the Sharjah Biennial 14: Leaving the Echo Chamber (Sharjah Art Foundation).

She is presenting works from her TUGU 1370:1425 series at “Journey Beyond the Arrow”, a group exhibition curated by Zoe Butt. Ampannee Satoh is known for her works that examine cultural identity, nation state, faith and individuality by bringing focus to traditional subjects in the Pattani region of Thailand, her homeland.

The 14th edition of the Sharjah Biennial: Leaving the Echo Chamber is on view at the Sharjah Art Museum from 7 March to 10 June 2019.
