We are pleased to announce Yavuz Gallery’s participation at Taipei Dangdai, with a curated group presentation featuring leading Asia-Pacific artists exploring the genre of figuration and themes of belonging, tenderness, physicality and what it means to be living in today’s age.

Featuring Abdul Abdullah, Kawayan de Guia, Yeo Kaa, Guido Maestri, Alvin Ong, Patricia Piccinini, Hadieh Shafie, Yasmin Sison, Tom Polo, Jason Wee, Mark Whalen and Grace Wright, the presentation consists of new paintings and sculptures that present the artists’ lived experiences of otherness, selfhood, our relationships with each other and the social spaces in which they occupy and operate within.
