DISPLACED: the politics of ethnicity and religion in the art of Jakkai Siributr

In Jakkai Siributr’s solo exhibition at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, DISPLACED: the politics of ethnicity and religion in the art of Jakkai Siributr, he extends his investigation of sectarian violence from Thailand to Myanmar.

On view from 1 April to 13 May 2017, the exhibition features three monumental works, including the installation ’78’, which Yavuz Gallery first exhibited at Art Basel Hong Kong 2014.
