In addition to the grand prize, finalists will compete for a public vote prize, decided through an online voting system and at the exhibition held in Hong Kong. This year’s 31 shortlisted nominees were whittled down from over 600, the largest number in the prize’s history, put forward by 88 art professionals from the region.
