Pannaphan Yodmanee at 15th Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale
14 May 2019
Pannaphan Yodmanee is currently participating in the 15th edition of the Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale: An Exceptional Landscape in Lyon, France. Inspired by the Fagor Factory at the heart of Lyon’s working-class history, Pannaphan has been commissioned to create a monumental site-specific installation, titled Quarterly Myth, that blends past and present civilisations.
This edition of the Biennale is curated by Palais de Tokyo’s curatorial team and presents a multi-prong and multi-site approach spanning the Lyon region; it aims to make art open and accessible to all. With more than 50 artists from all generations and continents participating, the show seeks to immerse visitors into a unique experience that reflects the complexities of contemporary society – showcasing works that address contemporary issues related to social transformations.
The 15th edition of the Lyon Contemporary Art Biennale is on view from 18 September 2019 to 5 January 2020 in Lyon, France.
