Pinaree Sanpitak at Bangkok Art Biennale

Congratulations to Pinaree Sanpitak on her presentation at the Bangkok Art Biennale. This year’s iteration titled CHAOS : CALM invites international and local artists to explore the binary opposite of chaos and calm, following the tumultuous conditions of the world as communities recover from the global pandemic and socio-political tensions.

Shown together for the first time are two monumental interactive installations, Temporary Insanity and Anything Can Break. As Sanpitak notes: “What matters to me is how the body becomes a site of transit, contemplation and understanding. The body – part or whole – ponders, wonders and challenges.”

View these dynamic works at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand until 23 February 2023.
