Pinaree Sanpitak’s Red Nights acquired by ILHAM Foundation

Red Nights by Pinaree Sanpitak has been acquired by the ILHAM Foundation for the ILHAM Collection.

The painting captures Sanpitak’s artistic exploration of femininity and her seamless fusion of diverse mediums with a distinct expressive style. Incorporating fabric into the canvas, Red Nights reveals vibrant hues gracefully blended into the canvas with combinations of drawing, brushwork and textures that effortlessly brings out a harmonious and visually striking composition, drawing viewers into Sanpitak’s world of emotions and introspection.

One of the most important contemporary voices in Southeast Asia, Sanpitak is renowned for her tender and complex abstractions of the human body as a vessel of the feminine experience, explored over four decades through her conceptual pursuit of the self and womanhood.
