Pinaree Sanpitak at Jim Thompson Farm Tour 2018

The Bangkok Post highlights Pinaree Sanpitak’s latest works as part of the Jim Thompson Farm Tour 2018.

For this year’s edition of Art On the Farm, Pinaree developed three different projects relating to the theme of Isan food. This includes: “Breast Stupa Topiary Jim Thompson Farm”, a permanent site-specific sculptural work; “The Mats And The Pillows Jim Thompson Farm”, an interactive installation made out of thread waste from Jim Thompson’s silk production; and “Breast Stupa Cookery By Samuay & Sons”, an exclusive event where Pinaree collaborated with chef Weerawat Triyasenawat to create a dinner where the sacred and the sensual come together through food.

The Jim Thompson Farm Tour is on view from 8 December 2018 to 6 January 2019, from 9am to 5pm daily.
