S.E.A Focus artist Studio Visit: Ian Tee

Singaporean artist Ian Tee gives a private studio tour to gain insight into his multi-faceted practice that investigates themes of rebellion and vulnerability. Conflating the history of painting with the vigour of subcultures, he is interested in how aesthetic statements can be reworked and recontextualised.

Tee’s works are part of STPI’s S.E.A Focus Curated with Yavuz Gallery. Tee also has a solo showcase titled “KILL YOUR DARLINGS”, on view concurrently to the fair at our temporary secondary space at 5 Lock Road, #01-06.
