Isabel and Alfredo Aquilizan at the Museum of Brisbane

In an ongoing exhibition, “Prototypes” After In-Habit: Project Another Country, at the Museum of Brisbane, Isabel and Alfredo Aquilizan – in collaboration with their Philippines workshop, the Fruitjuice Factory Studio, and community members – presents an installation piece, that features a suspended airship wing created with collected and reassembled cardboard dwellings. Drawing from their personal experiences of migration, family and transit, these works are constructed as part of a wider project in multiple countries.
“Prototypes” After In-Habit: Project Another Country runs from 5 April to 11 Aug 2019 at the Museum of Brisbane, Australia.
